Sometimes even in the ladies department I'll buy a piece one size bigger than I am, just to avoid tightness. Same with jeans- I just wear a belt, and love not having a pair of pants glued to my thighs ;)!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05180259003768992621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-402596940306323896.post-44523525067392003472012-07-26T11:16:30.965-04:002012-07-26T11:16:30.965-04:00Ugh, right here with you Jessica!! Oh fashion, how frustrating you are! Confound you! Alana, I am finding it sooo freeing just to be more comfortable, especially in worship services!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05180259003768992621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-402596940306323896.post-87679620517680683132012-07-26T10:22:33.935-04:002012-07-26T10:22:33.935-04:00You are so right about how clothes can become a di...You are so right about how clothes can become a distraction because of things slipping, moving... etc. As a 20 year old, I find it very hard to find modest clothing overall. All the "junior" sections of department stores sell skirts too short, shirts too low... dresses too tight. I sometimes just give up on shopping. But thank you for this other perspective, it's something to think about!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13039159314245752154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-402596940306323896.post-6903805018134078642012-07-25T21:38:06.246-04:002012-07-25T21:38:06.246-04:00I heartily agree! This causes me great anxiety because it never feels securely in place. They slip and loosen easily. Sigh.Jessica Festanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-402596940306323896.post-87198376013423762932012-07-25T21:04:40.148-04:002012-07-25T21:04:40.148-04:00Ha! LOL!

I actually have these neat little things that snap onto my bra straps to keep me covered when I wear a shirt with a lower neckline. It's kind of like a bib {just covering the area over my bra}, so I don't have to worry about layers creeping about!Jessica Heightshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14687962237051192058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-402596940306323896.post-62681844660906754412012-07-25T12:23:27.920-04:002012-07-25T12:23:27.920-04:00I honestly NEVER thought of this. I, too, assumed that camisoles and cardigans covered "a multitude of sins", but really they are just a distraction because of the pulling and tugging. It is now my goal to only purchase clothes that require NO "additions" to being modest. It must be modest to begin with. This will guarantee my modesty and, not to mention, make me more comfortable!

http://www.domesticblissdiaries.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09436036572780759085noreply@blogger.com
