Groove Book {What Every Grandma Wants for Christmas}
Have you heard of GrooveBook yet?
When my friend Emily told me about this product, I was so excited to give it a try! It sounded too good to be true.
Marvelously, it is true and did not disappoint.
Groove Book is an app that you can download onto your phone. Each month {for the minuscule price of $2.99} you choose 100 photos from your phone. They print the photos and deliver them to you in a handy little flip book. Photos have perforated edges, so you can tear and share {or frame!} easily. The dates and time the photo were taken are also printed next to each picture.
If you never rip them out, you can keep all of your pictures in handy little books for your family to enjoy. They have a cute cover, and the patterns of the covers change each month. As a busy mom I tend to never print pictures, let alone put them into albums- so this super easy, no hassle system has been a major life hack for me!
I need to point out that the quality of your prints will depend greatly on the quality of your phone's camera... Emily {who told me about it} found her pictures to be kind of fuzzy, except for one that her mom had sent to her {her mom has a newer phone}. My pictures came out crystal clear. You can also upload pictures to your phone from facebook or email, then include them in your book.
Groove Book is a monthly subscription, but you can cancel at any time with no penalty. $2.99 is less than the price of a cup of coffee or magazine, or even an ebook, so in my opinion it is definitely worth it! I am ordering several extra books this Christmas to send to long distance grandparents, aunts, and uncles. It would tuck nicely into a stocking. Super frugal, super great gift idea!
The only potential downsides? One, it can take several weeks to get your GrooveBook {why the overall cost is so cheap}. And two, if you forget to upload your 100 photos in time, you will be charged anyway and won't get that months book {ask me how I know :(}. All in all, still worth the it in my opinion.
Although I wish they were compensating me for this post :), I am receiving nothing from Groove Book in exchange for writing about them. I just really really like the product, and think that many of you might too.
